Can someone advise me on Pet Vet computer games?

I'm considering one of the Pet Vet computer games for a 10 year old boy. Has anyone played the games, and will they hold the interest of a 10 year old? He has a farming game that lets him buy land, plant crops, etc. and he likes that one. It's pretty simple. Thanks for any ideas. judy
