Should there be so many rules and restrictions on the internet?

I wanted to post a video of my topless on my myspace page.Nothing too risque merely a bit of nipple showing.However the video was banned.Using this just as an example.That was MY myspace profile and If I am willing to show my then the video should be allowed.No one has to look at it if they don't want to! Why are the majority always penalised because of the minority? O.K there are a few little kiddies on myspace for whom that would not be suitable but that should not be the undermining decision on what is allowed.Same goes for this place.
