Is my giant african land snail dead?! :O?

Iv had this giant african land snail are adopting it from abuse about 7-8 months ago... Over the past few days it has only come out a few times. My other 3 are fine but this one was lying on its side and i wondered if it had just fallen over (sometimes they do) i picked it up and looked at the opening, the snail was semi in its shell but its eyes were still out... I poked it s body and it was still moist/slimy but the eyes did not go in.... Iv noticed over the last few days that it has become less active but it usually just comes out to feed. It hasnt moved in 2 days..... Is it dead or hybernating or something!! Help!
