Xsyon Notorious games Prelude?

Ok let me start by saying am not at all new to online computer games i started back on UO and have played just about everyone that has come out the list would be to long to place on here even some of the ones that are not around anymore like shadowbane, on the web site MMRPG i was reading about Xsyon from what i heard it sounded like a good game letting you build villages and tribes and stuff not to many do that, so i jumped and pre-orderd it just as i do with all of them yet when i got on there was notthing to do what so ever other then pick up sticks or cut gr what the hex if i wanted to do yard work i wouldn't be on the computer, yet all that would be fine if i could craft it into something but i can't cuase u have no tools and can't make tools with out tools i didn't seen any animals or anything on top of that about 5 to 10 min into cuting gr for notthing i was killed, so if someone knows whats going pls let me know or did i just waste money i could have use on food lol
