5 foot 10 inches?

I have had friends tell me I should model, although I don't take them seriously because, well, they're my friends. But someone recently said I have a "haute couture" look so I'm becoming more interested. But what is the average height of a model? I'm 5'10" so I believe that's pretty tall? Would it give me an advantage say over girls who are 5'7"? I'm also naturally skinny, I'm 116, but have good curves at the same time, from sports. Oh, geez, did I forget to mention I'm just 15.
