Zelda phantom hourgl help?

so i juat entered the ghost ship for the first time. i found tetra and she's frozen. now, i went to the ohus's temple and i drew the hourgl on the door and..no other path to go through. Am i supposed to put another sign on the door? the one Zane gave me? i did and nothing happened. what should do?
