Why do farts smell good?

i'm not joking at all, i really want to know the answer to this. i work out regularly, and i eat alot of protiens and carbs to build muscle but the bad part is, is that it makes me have to fart, alot. yet people consistently tell me my farts smell heavenly, they actually prefer it. I don't know why this is, I've tried farting around people (silently of course) who are open "fart haters", yet the minute they detect the presence of an unknown gas all they say is, "something smells good". And my wife likes to open the bathroom door when i take a shlt because she says it freshens up the house. Please, does anyone have any ideas as to why my shlt smells so good?
