What is the main difference between evangelical and fundamentalist type of protestant Christianity?

Evangelism is about spreading the faith, bringing new recruits into the religion. Fundamentalism is a strict adherence to specific doctrines, a reaction to 'modernism'. They are completely different movements, but in these days they tend to overlap quite a bit.
