So my mom wont let me be catholic?

ok so i was a baptised methodist on febuary 2010 as i have gotten more familiar with the church i have had unanwsered questions about god. i asked my mom today if i can just visit a catholic church and watch there service mom said "why" and i restated i have questions. she says its rude. i wanted to b baptised methodist because i was afraid my mom would not aprove of catholicism. now not only am i a baptised methodist i have another issue is therexany way i can practice the catholic faith at home
